Chairman's Message

National Board of Revenue is the apex body of tax administration in Bangladesh. Collection of tax-revenue is one of the prime responsibilities of the NBR. The ratio of VAT and Income Tax, in total tax collection, is increasing day by day. There are very few publications of NBR revenue. As a result, taxpayers do not get proper service in time. So as a part of modernization initiatives of NBR, a dynamic web portal has been developed. Taxpayers will be able to know the updates information from this portal. Moreover, they will be able to download VAT act, Customs Act, Income Tax Act, Rules, new and old statutory Rules and Orders (SRO), General Orders etc with their latest status. I hope, this portal will fulfil the expectations of the taxpayers.
